How to differentiate "zhng" wrx(TS) with WRX

that day at katong i saw a parked black impreza, impressive STI bodykits, with a high STI roof scoop and a high spoiler.

got a WRX badge to go along with it, and when i walk pass the side i want to "pui chao niua" fcuking disc brakes! check the road tax lagi funnier, 400+ dollars for half year. i want to write a note "POSER!" and stick up on the windscreen, and get a post it note and write "FAKE!!" above the WRX badge at the boot. lucky my gf there to stop me from wasting my time.

Its okay if u want to zhng ur TS look like WRX, no issues if u debadge and strap on some nice bodkits. BUT STICKING A WRX BADGE TO A TS IS FCUKING POSER U KNN UNDERSTAND ME?!

I saw a WRX with a STi sticker before also.. And initially i thought it was real too.. When i reached home and checked the internet against his car plate number, i realised its just a WRX..

exhaust pipe can be modded....Have seen some TS's exhaust pipe that is single but opening hole is big, smaller than STI...

If the car is stationery, you can just read the road-tax disc. Ts and WRX have different road tax values. Also, most Ts, even modified, will not have the bonnet scoop (its not cheap to change the bonnet - the scoop is a few hundred bucks!).

BUT.....there are some modified Ts which look very tame. But if you look carefully, you can see a front-mounted intercooler. Be careful of those - they can fly! Laughing

It's an M3 CSL, not your run of the mill M3. The Spec C looks tame and most take it as a TS.

How do u check in the website? After u go to the website then go where?

I think is check at the place if you want to sell your vehicle, you just put the plate and the date you want sell it, details on that car would all come out.

no lar, buying WRX is okay, buying the TS is okay, buying the STI is okay. no problems with all that.

but the problem is when u got a TS and u stick a WRX / STI badge on it. now that screams "poser"

its easy wat..look at the brakes..

TS has drums..wrx has subaru calipers..sti has brembo calipers..

unless that TS owner has alot of $$ to spare..its easy to spot the difference

i have seen one very KP TS on the road...yellow and blue one with a black bonnet....straight thru pipe ,STI high wing with the words "JUN AUTO MECHANIC" at the back...wth..since when JUN tune such cars.... Laughing
